Thank you if you responded to the consultation in 2018 on our initial ideas to solve issues on the Oakwood to Leeds route. We have reviewed all the feedback you gave and have been using this to update our plans. You can find information on the previous consultations on our website .
We are now excited to share our updated proposals for the route between St James’s Hospital and the city centre. Bus services in the area often get delayed and improvements are needed. Our proposals include bus priority and changes for pedestrians and cyclists. We believe the proposals are capable of reducing bus journey times by up to 6 minutes at peak times, making bus journeys more reliable and attractive for the 10,000 people who use buses that travel on this route each day. The improved reliability will not just benefit bus users on this section of the route, but all those travelling on other sections of the bus routes across the city.
Take a look at our plans and let us know what you think by 2nd August 2019. Don't forgot to share this consultation with any family, friends and colleagues who travel along this route so they can also have their say.
